We are Ángel and Fernando, two cooking enthusiasts who, after years in hospitality, decided to go back to the roots. We wanted a place where the product speaks for itself. Where the garden and the meat share the spotlight. Where flavor is truly authentic.
La Vaca y La Huerta was born — a restaurant with simple yet characterful cuisine. Here, there are no gimmicks: we use Galician blond beef, patiently dry-aged, and seasonal organic vegetables — fresh, flavorful, and grown nearby.
We renew our menu each season because nature sets the pace, not trends. We work with small producers, choose each ingredient with care, and cook the way we were taught at home: without rush and with soul.
If you come, don’t expect fireworks. Expect a tomato that tastes like a tomato. A meat that speaks for itself. And a place where eating feels, once again, like true enjoyment.
